responsible for the processing of personal data of guests in the context of the rental of the holiday home Bellerose, Bilkske 28, 8000 Bruges.
2. What personal data is collected?
Only the data necessary to properly arrange the stay:
• Surname and first name
• Address
• Telephone number and email address
• Number of guests, length of stay and any special requests
• Payment details (if applicable)
• Data required by law (e.g. registration requirement with the city of Bruges)
When the tenant subscribes to the newsletter, we also process the tenant’s name and email address for that purpose.
3. Why is this data processed?
The data is processed for the following purposes:
• Managing bookings and communication about the stay
• Complying with legal obligations (e.g. tourist registration or tax)
• Processing payments and administration
• Sending newsletters or offers (only with the tenant’s consent)
4. Legal basis for processing
Processing of personal data based on:
• Contractual necessity (execution of the booking);
• Legal obligation (e.g. registration with the city or tourist tax);
• Consent (for newsletters and marketing communications).
Consent can be withdrawn at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by emailing the landlord directly.
5. Retention periods
• Booking and invoicing data: 7 years (statutory retention period for administration).
• Identity or registration data: as long as required by local regulations.
• Newsletter data: until unsubscribed.
After these periods, data will be securely deleted or anonymised.
6. Sharing data with third parties
Data will not be sold or shared with third parties, except when necessary:
• For bookings via platforms (such as Airbnb or Booking.com);
• For legal obligations (e.g. tourist registration with the city of Bruges);
• With service providers who assist with administration or cleaning (with a processing agreement).

We take appropriate measures to protect data against misuse, loss or unauthorised access:

8. Rights of the tenant
• request access to personal data,
